How do we get started?
Our goal is to align our services with your needs and goals. We work hard before you make any commitment to make sure we understand your business, your objectives, and your current and future challenges. Then we propose the ideal package of HR administration, consulting and benefits for your unique situation.
Of course, HRi will handle your payroll and all benefits administration, but the real value comes in empowering you to offer better, more comprehensive benefits, offering improved training and professional development programs, and refining your processes and policies to improve productivity, morale, hiring and retention. You’re still in complete control of your employees, but what HRi provides removes the HR administrative burden from your shoulders.
How does this really work?
HRi functions as an extension of your company. A single HRi representative will be your primary contact, but other benefits and HR specialists will become involved as needed. They are available by phone, email and will make personal visits to work with you and your staff as required. You should still have someone on site that functions as the primary liaison for HRi, but most of the burden and liability for properly administering HR programs will be eliminated.
How does HRi get paid?
HRi’s fee is calculated on a per employee basis, depending on the depth of support and services provided. The burden is spread across the entire year.
I’ve heard that by using a company like HRi, my employees will no longer really work for me?
Not true. This is your business, they are your staff, you are responsible for hiring, firing, promotions, discipline — HRi simply helps you administer these and other HR functions. You are in control and must still take responsibility for these relationships.
What is a PEO?
HRi is a Professional Employer Organization (PEO). A PEO functions more as your partner — providing an integrated and cost effective approach to administering human resource functions and managing employer risks. HRi accomplishes this by contractually assuming some employer rights, responsibilities, and risks through the establishment and maintenance of an employer relationship with workers assigned to clients.
Can I easily terminate this relationship if I choose?
Yes, you are not locked into a long-term relationship. As far as terminating your relationships with employees, you remain in complete control of hiring and firing staff. Only now HRi will be there to ensure your legal liability is minimized every step of the way.
